Horseshoe Lake

Every photographer seems to have a secret place that serves as a go-to location when you just have to get out a camera.  Horseshoe Lake is a small oxbow lake and conservation area close to the Mississippi River in extreme Southern Illinois.  After three decades it's still often a source of inspiration.
